Expanding Decision Intelligence: Altech Extends TLE to Supply Chain Security and Energy Efficiency

By Altech Innovation Team

Following the successful deployment of its core decision engine, Altech Solutions is expanding The Little Engine (TLE) to address two of the most pressing priorities in the federal sector: supply chain security and energy efficiency.

These new pilot capabilities extend TLE beyond operational troubleshooting—bringing decision intelligence to compliance, resilience, and long-term sustainability initiatives.

New Pilot Capabilities

Supply Chain Risk Illumination

Altech is adapting TLE to map software and system dependencies across complex environments. This capability provides the illumination required by 90-day DoD mandates, delivering an audit-ready view of sub-tier vendor risk, hidden dependencies, and potential points of failure.

Energy-Efficient Data Center Management

Currently in development, this module applies TLE's correlation engine to environmental and infrastructure telemetry. The goal is to optimize cooling, power utilization, and fault response—reducing energy consumption while maintaining operational readiness.

These emerging capabilities are eligible for Other Transaction Authority (OTA) awards and support rapid evaluation through a 30-day prototyping cycle. Agencies can pilot future-ready decision intelligence without long acquisition timelines.

Through this expansion, Altech continues to evolve TLE from an operational decision layer into a strategic platform—helping agencies meet today's mandates while preparing for tomorrow’s mission challenges.
