Lee Howder is a seasoned IT and cybersecurity professional with over 23 years of experience supporting mission-critical systems for federal agencies, including NASA and the U.S. Navy. He is the founder of Howder Labs, a veteran-owned consulting firm specializing in secure systems integration, network engineering, and AI-driven cybersecurity solutions for government and public sector clients. Before launching Howder Labs, Lee served in technical leadership roles at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center, where he led large-scale infrastructure modernization projects such as the deployment of Software-Defined Access (SDA) and 10G backbone upgrades. His work supported aerospace operations, zero trust initiatives, and compliance-driven IT transformation. Lee’s credentials include advanced certifications in network security, ethical hacking, and systems architecture (CISSP, CEH, Cisco, Red Hat), as well as a Master’s degree in Network Communications Management. A U.S. Army veteran, Lee brings a mission-focused mindset to every project, blending deep technical skill with a pragmatic, client-first approach.
