Arvind Lal
Founder & CEOArvind is the architect behind Altech's strategic transition from a trusted support partner to a product-led innovations firm. With over 20 years of operational leadership in the Federal GovCon space, he has managed critical infrastructure, including the "Follow the Sun" automation initiative for the Deep Space Network (DSN), ensuring seamless 24/7 antenna handoffs for deep space missions. Under his leadership, Altech moved beyond standard IT support to become a key player in planetary and cislunar exploration. Arvind directed the teams responsible for Mars 2020 Perseverance mission-critical software, including real-time image labeling, the PIXL instrument data pipeline, and AI-driven drilling analytics. That unique intersection—managing high-stakes operational data while building autonomous space systems—inspired the creation of The Little Engine (TLE). Arvind realized that federal agencies were drowning in logs but starving for insights. Today, he leads Altech with a dual focus: delivering elite operational readiness for enterprise programs like NASA NEST and AEGIS, and deploying proprietary AI decision layers to modernize federal IT. He is a champion of workforce development, creating sustainable pipelines for early-career IT talent.
